Hopefully one of these days I will be in Dallas and can visit.
Although, I am sure visitors don't get to look at all the "cool" network equipment and servers due to security reasons.

There are very few people who have seen Dllstx3.

In Dllstx2, you can walk down control row and look through the locked cabinets at the various network gear and some of the couple hundred servers that run Orbit.

Couple hundred servers for Orbit? WOW!
I am sure Orbit is secret but I am going to guess it is powered by MS SQL and I can understand the need for many DB servers, application servers and mostly web servers.

Yea, DLLSTX3 would be the place to take a tour. But I understand the need for security and to keep "company ideas" secret as well.
I would inforce the same secuity policies.

Hi new user here.

I have one gripe with your website and that's the "live chat" popup, if I want to speak to you guys live then I'll click on the live chat link. I don't like it "in my face" when I move from page to page. It is annoying having to continually close it.

If its not something they are happy with putting on a public video, im happy to wait until i next come and harass you all. Just at some point its something i would be interested in seeing. It also helps give us a better feel for things in the event of network issues

I chatted with Stan Barber about it, and he mentioned that we wouldn't have a problem giving a little more technical information about the structure of the network, but because so much work is being done to build it and improve it currently, the info would be quickly outdated or we'd just be sharing the plans ... Both of those side-effects aren't too terrible, but it would be much easier to get the work done and shoot a more technical video when the plans are executed. icon_smile.gif
